Monday November 21, 2011

Hi:

Brought Joan home about 1:30 this afternoon. She's tired and weak but glad to be in her own home again. She took her meds and went immediately to bed. Now the road to recovery begins. I'm going to buy a nurses outfit so I can dress the part. Give her a week or so and she'll most likely want to see her friends and family cuz she'll be sick of me by then.

Again, thank you to everyone for your prayers, positive thoughts and friendship.

  1. Thank you for the updates. Getting home today makes things go right according to plan, so Joanie must be doing well.

A nurse outfit would be quite a kick. I wish I could be there to help, but I know dr Song wouldn't want me to with this flu I came down with.

Still there is much to be thankful for this season.

Be sure you get some rest too, Ron.

  2. Hello Joan, Ron and Family:

I am so glad to read that you are home Joan. I've been following your blog since your surgery on Friday. I, along with many others, had our candles burning Friday for you, your family and friends and your doctors. I hope you are able to rest and heal quickly. We will keep the prayers coming :)

Peace to you and your family.... God Bless You... Sherry Elliott

  5. Thanks for the updates on Joan. I am so happy you decided to go with my Doc. I was thinking and praying for you on Friday but knew you would be fine in Dr. Song hands. He is the best, especially in micro surgery. Joan although we have never met if there is anything you need or just need to talk to someone who has walked your walk, please give me a call and I'm looking forward to that drink with you and Suzanne! Rest and good wishes on a speedy recovery! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Deb
